Thanks to Tucson Clean & Beautiful and Tortolita Alliance (TA) Board Member David Howe for organizing today's Santa Cruz River Trash Clean Up. Special thanks to TA Board Member Dave Barker for providing logistics.
20 TA members and other volunteers removed over 50 large bags of trash plus an assortment of mattresses, old tires, plastic crates, etc. from the Santa Cruz River riverbed near the Ina Road Bridge. A fantastic effort! We are fortunate to have such great community volunteers that care so much for our local environment.
