Tortolita Alliance (TA) received word yesterday that the comment period for the Interstate 11 (I-11) Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) will not be extended. Therefore, the comment deadline is Monday, August 16 at 11:59 PM.
TA is working closely with the Coalition For Sonoran Desert Protection (CSDP) and they have provided suggested talking points and methods to submit comments at CSDP's I-11 Website Page.
You may utilize this letter and send electronically to the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) by clicking on the button below. Simply state that you are a TA member, oppose the FEIS West Option, attach the TA Opposition Letter and support TA's comments.
